* NOTE: this is not a recovery class! We will show and discuss the merits of various gear along with some best practices, but recovery demonstrations and skills will be covered in a separate class.
While this class emphasizes tools and gear for 4x4 enthusiasts, it is also relevant for anyone who traverses remote roads while getting to/from hiking and biking trails, or simply driving in inclement weather where the possibility of getting stuck or stranded exist (blizzards and heavy snow events being prime examples in Colorado).
